Every place in the world has its own soul. It`s alive. Falling in love with a city is often as great and wonderful as falling in love with a person. Especially when we speak of Barcelona.

London, Paris, New-York, Buenos-Aires, St. Petersburg, Tokyo. The world is full of wonders. But there is the one I`dchoose. It is not merely one of the biggest Spanish cities. It is the capital of Catalonia. It is the land of the amazing, bright, rich nature. Barcelona is fully natural, I should say. Surrounded by picturesque hills on the west and blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea on the east, it exists in the perfect harmony with the surrounding world. This city is really one of the most suitable places for recreation. Barcelona is very popular with tourists. What is more, Barcelona is absolutely opened for people all around the world. You`ll always find the best service even when you have not much money. Secondly, there are a lot of ways of getting there. Of course, travelling by plane is the most popular. It seems to be expensive enough, but I`m sure it is worth it. Just imagine the enormous size and modern design of El Prat Airport! You can feel the atmosphere of Barcelona right here, you know! So, we are in Barcelona. What should we do?
We are free now! We can do what welove, and do it without fear. Barcelona lets us open their minds, arms and hearts to new things and people. We can spend years exploring this Wonderland, but still know nothing about it. Barcelona is boundless. It is eternal.
Without a doubt, Barcelona amazes us not only with its streets, churches and sculptures. This city is a real dream of those who like fun and entertainment. Enjoy various zoos, museums, nightclubs, cinemas, learn how to dance flamenco in a historic tablao (a place where flamenco shows are performed), and don’t forget about PortAventura Park, which is absolutely cosmopolitan and lively! Shopping is rather delightful part of our life, in my opinion. Anyway, it is always so when we speak of shopping in Barcelona. It is very special. You can find all you need. There is a plenty of interesting and inexpensive shops. All styles of clothes are sold there – everybody wears what he loves. The perfect democracy. And it is beautiful, isn’t it? Nothing can depict the soul of Barcelona in such an exact way but its markets. They are like the separate worlds. The air there is full of smells of cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, fruit and flowers… It is saturated with history. Barcelona is famous with its charming old-world confectionary shops and bakeries. Pastry is unforgettable. Would you like cookies with some coffee? Oh, you’ll be served a perfect cup of coffee! What about some excellent Spanish wine? It tastes perfect with seafood, you know. Barcelona is appreciated for its seafood stews and soups, divine fresh delicacies and original fish dishes.
