I believe that it is absolutely vital to keep the house clean in order to create a cozy atmosphere there. In all families, household chores are normally divided between family members and my family is no exception.
Я считаю, что очень важно держать дом в чистоте, чтобы создать в нем уютную атмосферу. Во всех семьях домашние обязанности обычно разделяются между членами семьи, и моя семья не исключение.
Honestly, I do
not have
numerous household duties. I have
to make
my bed and take out the rubbish regularly. Weekly I clean my room. Besides, sometimes I can cook something. Actually, I am not really good at cooking. It is rather difficult for me, that`s why my mother cooks for the whole family on the regular basis. She really enjoys cooking and her dishes are very delicious. From time to time I help her serve the table or buy some products if we are run out of something.
Честно говоря, у меня не так много домашних обязанностей. Я должен регулярно убирать свою кровать и выносить мусор. Каждую неделю я убираюсь в своей комнате. Кроме того, я иногда готовлю что-нибудь. На самом деле, я не очень хорошо готовлю. Для меня это достаточно сложно, поэтому моя мама регулярно готовит на всю семью. Ей очень нравится готовить и ее блюда очень вкусные. On Saturdays, my
parents and I do a big cleaning. I usually do vacuum-cleaning and dust the furniture, while my mother mops the floor and do the ironing. My father is responsible for fixing the breakages in our flat. Moreover, once a month he beats the dust out of the carpets. My parents clear out the kitchen and bathroom together. On Sundays, my father normally goes shopping and buys products for the whole week. Frankly speaking, my parents do the majority of household chores. Nevertheless, I understand that they are really exhausted after the working week and want to have a rest even at the weekend. That`s why I do my best to help them with the cleaning.
По субботам мы с родителями делаем генеральную уборку. Я обычно пылесошу и протираю пыль с мебели, в то время как моя мама моет полы и занимается глажкой. Мой папа ответственен за устранение поломок у нас в квартире. Кроме того, раз в месяц мой папа выбивает пыль из ковров. Мои родители убираются на кухне и в ванной комнате вместе. В воскресенье мой папа обычно ходит в магазин и покупает продукты на всю неделю. Честно говоря, мои родители делают основную часть домашних обязанностей. Однако я понимаю, что они очень устают за рабочую неделю и хотят отдохнуть хотя бы на выходных. Поэтому я стараюсь помочь им с уборкой.

I know only few people who enjoy household duties. Nevertheless, keeping the house clean and tidy is very important. At least parents say that. So what exactly do house chores include?
My tasks about the house can be divided into two sorts – daily and weekly chores. Every day starts with making my bed. If clothes are messy, I need to pick them up. I noticed that all my schoolbooks and copybooks are in order, preparation takes less time. One of the duties is to wash the dishes. It is the most unpleasant for me. If only we had a washing machine at home.
Several times a week I have to go shopping. It is easy as mother gives me a shopping list and allows buying something sweet. She never makes me carry heavy bags so I go to the store when some products are out. Fortunately, I’m not the only child in the family, so we share some responsibilities with my elder sister. She often forgets something or asks me to wash her cup or plates. That is a piece of cake; I try to help all the time.
On Saturday or Sunday we have our house cleaned. That means sweeping and washing the floor, vacuum cleaning, dusting, laundering and ironing. At the weekend the whole family works. Father cleans the bathroom with a detergent. Mother takes laundering and ironing. My sister and I need to cope with the rest. Luckily, it doesn’t take a lot of time and in the afternoon everyone finishes the duties.
As for me, cleaning the house is boring but it helps to discipline people. It goes without saying that a clean and cozy house is better than untidy and messy one.

I think nobody likes it when his house is in a mess. Doing household chores and keeping the house clean and cozy are necessary in every flat.
My parents work hard and they get rather tired after work. So it goes without saying that they don’t have to manage all the housework and I have to help them. Everyone in our family has some household chores. But frankly speaking I must admit that my mother does the majority of the housework. Some things must be done every day, others need to be done once or twice a week (like watering the plants).
My daily chores are making my bed, washing up, tidying my room in the evening, cleaning my shoes and taking out the rubbish. This is my usual routine. I also pick up my little sister from the kindergarten. Fortunately I don’t have to cook any food because my mum and granny do that and they really enjoy cooking. I just sometimes help them and serve the table. Once or twice a week my mother asks me to go shopping to the nearest food supermarket. I usually buy some bread, milk, fruits and vegetables.
Once a week, on Sundays my parents give the flat a big cleaning. There is a lot of work to do: dusting the furniture, ironing the clothes, mopping the floor, clearing out the bathroom and the kitchen. I am busy with vacuum-cleaning the carpets in our bedrooms and cleaning the mirrors.
I don’t consider my household chores difficult and I can cope with them easily, but sometimes I feel a bit lazy or I may be too busy with my school homework.

Думаю, что никому не понравится, если в их доме будет царить беспорядок. Выполнение домашних обязанностей и поддержание чистоты и уюта в доме необходимы в любой квартире.
Мои родители много работают и сильно устают после работы. Поэтому, само собой разумеется, что они не обязаны справляться со всей работой по дому, и я должен помогать им. У каждого в нашей семье имеются домашние обязанности. Но, честно говоря, должен признать, что большую часть работы выполняет мама. Некоторые вещи нужно делать ежедневно, другие следует выполнять раз или два в неделю (например, поливать цветы).
К моим ежедневным обязанностям относятся заправка кровати, мытье посуды, уборка своей комнаты по вечерам, чистка моей обуви и вынос мусора. Это мой обычный распорядок. Я также забираю маленькую сестренка из детского сада. К счастью, мне не нужно готовить еду, потому что этим занимаются мама и бабушка, и это им доставляет большое удовольствие. Я просто иногда помогаю им и накрываю на стол. Раз или два в неделю мама просит меня сходить в ближайший продуктовый супермаркет. Обычно я покупаю хлеб, молоко, фрукты и овощи.
Раз в неделю, по воскресеньям мои родители устраивают в квартире генеральную уборку. Бывает много работы: уборка пыли с мебели, глажка утюгом, мытье полов шваброй, уборка ванной комнаты и кухни. Я занимаюсь чисткой ковров пылесосом в наших спальнях и мытьем зеркал.
Я не считаю свои домашние обязанности сложными, и могу легко с ними справляться, но иногда я чувствую лень, или же могу быть очень занят выполнение школьных уроков.

Бабушка
У моей бабушке не много дел по дому. Она каждый вечер встречает мою сестру из школы. Кроме того, она вяжет всем нам носки и печет вкусные пироги и торты, а также варит варенье из клубники, голубики и малины.
Мой отец много работает и очень устает под конец рабочего дня. Поэтому, в его обязанности входит только выгул собаки.
Выходные
По субботам вся семья принимает участие в уборке квартиры. Мой отец чистит ковер пылесосом. Мама стирает в стиральной машине белье. Я как обычно мою полы и вытираю пыль. Бабушка готовит субботний обед. По окончании уборки мы накрываем на стол и обедаем. На десерт у нас бывает чай с вкуснейшим тортом, испеченным моей бабушкой. Затем мы некоторое время обсуждаем события этой недели. Потом мы отправляемся отдыхать, и каждый занимается тем, чем хочет.
Заключение
В целом, я думаю, что выполнение работы по дому очень важно, потому что это помогает нам стать более ответственными. Каждый в нашей семье относится к своим домашним обязанностям очень серьезно.

Members of my family
My family is quite large. It consists of five members: my mother, my father, my grandmother, my younger sister and me. I suppose it’s fair that everyone in the family has their own duties.
My mother
My mother usually goes shopping because she is the only one who knows best which products we need. She buys bread, milk and vegetables every day and if there is too much to bring from the supermarket, my sister goes with her to help her with carrying the bags. After that my mom prepares dinner and supper. We all like her cooking. She is especially good at cooking meat with vegetables.
My chore
My chore is to do the washing up after we have finished with our meal. I also have to dust the furniture and to sweep the floor in my room every day. My sister’s duties are to carry out the garbage and put her things in their right place.
My grandmother
My grandmother hasn’t got many duties. She meets my sister from school every evening. Besides, she knits socks for everybody and makes tasty cakes and pies and cooks jam out of strawberries, blueberries and raspberries.
My father
My father usually works long hours and he is very tired at the end of the day. Therefore, his only duty on weekdays is to walk our dog.
Weekends
On Saturday, all the family are busy with their chores as we make our flat neat. My father cleans the carpet with a vacuum-cleaner. My mother washes linen in a washing machine. I wash the floors and clean the dust as usually. My grandma cooks Saturday dinner. After all, we all lay the table and have dinner all together. For dessert we have tea with a delicious cake made by my granny. Then we spend some time discussing different problems and events of the week. Finally, we enjoy the rest of the day doing things we like.
Conclusion
Summing up, I believe that household duties are very important in the life of the family as they help us to be more responsible. Everyone in our family treats his chores very seriously.
