People always invent something new and unusual. Such things aimed to simplify people’s life always become an important part of it. For example, it is difficult to imagine the modern life without computers, television, cars, mobile phones and so on. We use them in our everyday life. Besides, every year all such inventions are developed and become faster and “smarter”.
Люди всегда изобретают что-то новое и необычное. Такие вещи, направленные на упрощение жизни людей, всегда становятся важной частью ее. Например, трудно представить современную жизнь без компьютеров, телевидения, автомобилей, мобильных телефонов и т.д. Мы используем их в нашей повседневной жизни. Кроме того, с каждым годом такие изобретения развиваются и становятся быстрее и «умнее».
Nowadays we often hear a popular word “gadget”. What is a gadget? It is a small device aimed to simplify the life of people. We can meet gadgets in different fields. For example, we use different kinds of fitbits in sport. It seems to me that one of the most unusual gadgets is used in medicine. It is an electronic adhesive bandage. It traces different things such as pulse rate and body temperature. In software industry the term “gadget” is also used. However in that field it means some additional icon, for example, which shows weather forecast.
В настоящее время мы часто слышим популярное слово «гаджет». Что такое гаджет? Это небольшое устройство, предназначенное для упрощения жизни людей. Мы можем встретить гаджеты в разных областях. Например, мы используем различные виды фитрнес-браслетов в спорте. Мне кажется, что один из самых необычных гаджетов используется в медицине. Это электронный пластырь. Он отслеживает различные показатели, такие как частота пульса и температура тела. В индустрии программного обеспечения также используется термин «гаджет». Однако в этой области это означает, например, некоторый дополнительный значок, который показывает прогноз погоды.
As for devices it is impossible not to mention such gadgets as virtual vision video glasses, game consoles, smartphones, tablets, MP3-players and many other things. Smartphones are mobile phones which combines the functions of a phone and a computer. Tablets are devices with touch screen which gives a user an opportunity to control different computer software programmes. E-books are also gadgets. They allow people to read books everywhere without necessity of carrying printed books.
Что касается устройств, то нельзя не упомянуть такие гаджеты, как очки виртуальной реальности, игровые приставки, смартфоны, планшеты, MP3-плееры и многое другое. Смартфоны – это мобильные телефоны, которые сочетают в себе функции телефона и компьютера. Планшеты представляют собой устройства с сенсорным экраном, которые дают пользователю возможность управлять различными компьютерными программами. Электронные книги также являются гаджетами. Они позволяют людям читать книги повсюду без необходимости носить печатные книги.
In my opinion, gadgets really simplify our life and allow us do many things when and where it is convenient for us.
На мой взгляд, гаджеты действительно упрощают нашу жизнь и позволяют нам делать многое тогда и в тех местах, где это удобно для нас.

My Favorite Gadget
First, the internet features. My phone has a good quality in internet browsing, it’s quite fast. Although it is not as fast as android phone, but I’m quite satisfied with that speed. With the internet features on my phone, I can search anything, I can download many things such as pictures, songs, videos, applications, videos, and many more. Beside download, I can upload my photos, I usually upload my photos on social media like Facebook and Twitter, I also can read and reply messages trough e-mail by my phone. And I can play videos on Youtube trough my phone, the buffering is not too long
Second, the media player. The media player on my phone has two menu, song and video player. With music player, I can listen to my favorite song that stored in my momory card and phone device. Most of the song in my music player are korean and western song. I usually add some songs too playlists, so I don’t need to search for the songs too long. I often open my music player when I was in a a public transportation, I listen to music using the earphone. Beside that, there is a video player, I can play my favorite video trough my phone.
Third, the camera. My camera’s phone is 3. 15 megapixels. It can capture images with good quality. I love to photograph and be photographed. I have so many images in my phone. I can edit my images in my phone by change the effect, adding text or clip-art, cut the photo, add frame and many more.The camera is also used for video recorder with VGA quality, but the video recording is not too bad. I can record every important moment with the camera and the video recorder.
In other words, I chose my handphone as my favorite gadget because of the features on my phone such as internet features, media player, and the camera that’s very useful. I think that’s all about my favorite gadget, thank You
